This show will probably make it to one of US TV's Discovery Channels, eventually.
I think it's the History channel is airing a "Monster Quest" for the largest freshwater fish in the world. There's a run down of the show and it's next airing date on the channel website (http://www.history.com). I ...

Sorry to bring up an older topic, but I'd just like to put in my two cents. In my tanks, I use Quercus bicolor (Swamp White Oak), or Quercus Alba (normal White Oak), with great success. Both lower my tap pH from 6.6 to 5.5-6.0 depending on when and where I collect the leaves. I know that the soil ...

I think maybe they have settled in and are starting to eat what my Apistos do. Maybe soon I can work on spawning these guys. I hope it is as easy as ...

C. Pygmaeus Diet
So I purchased 8 Corydoras Pygmaeus a couple of days ago, after much research on them. The place I purchased it from is a Pleco/Corydoras specialist place, and they assured me there was 4 Males, and 4 Females. I checked, and this seems to be the case. However, there is one problem. I can't find ...
