Panaqolus is not a valid genus, so the fish would have to fit in Panaque or Peckoltia.

if the genus Panaqolus is not a valid genus, why it appear at the cat e log?

well I found this lory in the cat e log, looks very similar, but the colors are not the same.

I think that in the options of the survey you have miss CENTRAL AMERICA, is not the same central america and south america,

south america start at Colombia, central america start at Panamá and finish in Guatemala and Belize..

I just don't think it's possible to say what this Ancistrus is unless you know where it came from in the wild and even then it is not certain that we can ID it

yes you are right in this point, i will not call them ancistrus until we make sure what loricarid they are.

well may be but the white points are smaller and the tail of my ancistrus is more longer but they look like the same.

Well today i was viewing my Ancistrus sp. and I notice a kind of ver smal "hairs" (about 1 mm or 2 mm ) in all the contour of its head, maybe this will help with the id of this ancistrus
