i found an assassin snail in my cave with my male L201 who had eggs, i only got 2 fry from that spawning, wether the snail ate the eggs or not i cant be certain but my last spawn yielded 29 fry

just got a couple of pics which turned out ok but it looks like it has a mottled colour when i zoom in. i will upload the pics soon but i dont think it is albino which is a shame but it is definately a different colour to the rest, i will get pics as it grows to see if it darkens to the same as the ...

i will try to get a picture but the fry are so tiny and my camera is not the best so wont make any promises, i will definately get a picture as it grows though

hi guys i have some tatia intermedia fry which are just over a week old, all the fry look black apart from 1 which looks almost transparent, it is growing at the same rate as the others but just lacks any colour, could it be an albino? is this a common occurance?

thanks for the replies guys i really dont mind which tatia i have as they are very nice fish but its always nice to be able to get a proper id in case i ever need to move on young from them, i have 5 babies shooting around my fry trap at the moment.

hi guys sorry for the bad pics but is it possible to id my tatia, i bought a pair as galaxias but i think they are either tatia intermedia or Tatia jaracatia, im leaning more towards Tatia jaracatia due to the pattern on the tail but im by no means an expert so would like your opinions

forgot to add that they are around 2.5 years old

fish 2 is the same size as fish 1 at 3 inches not including the tail, they are both captive bred and came from different breeders but at the time of buying they where the same size, this is all the person who sold me them could tell me about them so i presume they are around the same age

which fins look deformed to you? they look fine to me. so you are saying they are both L333? is it ok for me to breed these two fish together? i am asking as i would hate to create hybrids

hi i had a large group of 13 L129 about 2 years ago and i dont think the second fish is 129. you are probably right on the first fish being L333, it doesnt have the deeply forked tail of L066

i would say L066 or L333, i would lean towards L333 as the tail does not look forked deeply enough for L066 but im probably wrong lol

hi guys can anyone give me any info on breeding CW023 please, do they lay eggs at night or during the day? do they lay eggs on plants or will they lay on the glass like bronze cories.
