Yes thats exactly what I'm saying,And my otos were eating some off of 1 too but I don't know how they are still living ,though I put some parasite killer in.

Looks like its a little too dark to be a king tiger,and many differrent species are labeld scribble pleco,( about 3 ) And if its chubby feed it less or have some pleco in there to help clean it up a bit.

I had gotten my first pleco about two months ago and he was so small ,only one inch.JUst starting to get bristles.MY cories had ich so I put some medicine in there for em and some of them lived another day,the others died(2).So my BN pleco cleaned one cory off completely but cought ich too.He lived ...

Royal pleco and acrylic
I heard from a website that if you pput a royal pleco in a acrylic tank it will dammage the material,and its lip will bleed.Is this true? I was plannig on kepping a tank with convicts,and firemouths and rams with a royal pleco.

That was a cool recipe Richrd B, But do you think there is any thing else out there? What did you search to find it? I have 6 cories, and a bristlenose,willl that recipe work with my fish? I'm trying to get my cories to breed again,do you recomend the recipe?

It looks like him but its not.However ,my cories are done spawning.They layed about 21 and only 4 are left.(I hid them in the plants)

I bought 3 cories 2 days ago and I think one was pregnant,Today I noticed 9 white spots on the side of my aquarium,that look like eggs.Not only this,but they have been swimming really fast up and downthe sides of the tank since I got them.They were labeled ''green cory'',but I cant't find anything ...

ABout 30min. later,I noticed they started scavenging for food and swimming up and down the tank fast and then they grouped up and started doing this together.

Just came back from petsmart( not the best place to buy fish ) and got..
: 9 glowlights
:3 neons ( for my other 7 in my 29 )
:1 male guppy ( for my 3 females )
3 green cories ( ingnore each other )
One is medium and 2 r small.
How many more can I fit in a 29 gal with a driftwood ( 9x13 ) and 8 ...

Grazing BN Pleco?????
I have a BN pleco I got a couple of days ago,and When I got him I did'nt know if they fed him/her in the store so I droped a algae wafer in and had'nt seen him/her touch it untill the next day when he/she was on it for 2 seconds.Now I have been seeing it graze on the rocks,gravel,glass and wood.

I tried to take a good photo,but he kept swimming around and chewing.How do you keep the picture so clear?And I like my pleco swimming around but he just dose'nt stop and when I come up to him/her,him/her swimms back into the cave.Have any tips?

My first pleco
I just came from the fish store about 30min -1 hr ago,and I got my fist pleco,that I could'nt keep my eyes off.And its my favorite,you all kn ow what it is...A BN pleco!!!!!!! I also bought a lot more plants,got algae wafers,bloodworms and regular fish food.He looked so inisent untill I let him go ...

I think they are.BN's come in several colors from brown-green,black and in some cases yellow and I've seen some mixes.

Remove the sand asap!It is reef sand not feshh water sand.You should sift through it an dremove any sharp/hard pieces.They sometimes dig.

The bristlenose pleco would be a ideal fish to put in,as it eats algae vigourously.And it is so with a lot of fish and has side stabbers sobig cichlids don't eat it.
