Ah, yes. After seeing all the pics (I only could see one for some reason) it looks almost like a short-nosed version of C117.

Depends on the tank for me. One of my female aeneus just laid another 120+ eggs, and like last time she spread them all over. In my community tanks I notice The eggs are laid where they spend most of their time normally.

B. splendens size

How big do B.splendens get? I have a group that are now 2" in length. I have always been under the impression from literature and elsewhere that they reach approx 3" (80mm) in length. I am being told by some they can reach 5" in length.

The reasons why I don't think they are elegans are that the coloring on the dorsal fin is not like any elegans which I have seen. All elegans I have seen have a mottled black "spotting" on the dorsal fin-mine have just a slight bit of black on the front edge of the fin only. As well, mine do not ...

I know of one person in the UK (through the internet) that also purchased cories sold as Sangam cories. I will try to get a pic up soon.

Sangam Cories?

There are some cories being sold around here labelled "Sangam cories". They look very similar to virginiae with some quite minor differences. The shopkeeper is unable to provide any information on them. The only information I have been able to find is that apparently in the UK virginiae were sold as ...
