I introduced Lymphocystis into my system earlier this year when I added a datnoid to my tank. He had a small white bump on his dorsal which I thought was just fin damage. The disease soon spread and caused devastation.. I lost an upsetting amount of fish, some of which I had kept for many years ...

Note: carp wouldn't be widespread in Ireland either, again generally limited to stocked fisheries but becoming very popular.

European perch, an analog of the american LMB and SMB, can reach 2' and 11 lb.

Not quite sure what this guy is, he is a beautiful looking syno, around 8 inches long.
Synodontis ornatipinnis is the closest profile I could see in the Cat-eLog but that might be a long shot as one of the hybrid pics is very similar.

I was lucky enough to see David Bowie performing here in Dublin several years ago. You wouldn't think he was any older than mid-thirties the way he looked and moved around the stage.
