I decided to change how my tank will be so I ditched the lucipinnis idea. Instead I will go for a striped or spotted raphael to go with some community fish. I currently have 4 five banded barb and 4 dwarf gourami.

I think you could go with a few lucipinnis in this tank with a number of river rocks for them to swim about in...but not with Apistograma or Rams

So I've finally got myself a tank! It's 600x450x450mm and I'm running it with an Eheim canister filter. I want this tank mainly for Syno Lucipinnis so I was thinking of 3 or could I stretch it to 5 in there? I would also like some mid level fish too but I don't know what. Any suggestions?

Yeah I think they are Lucipinnis then at the price they were selling them but labelled Petricola. I'm not buying anything yet anyway as I haven't even got the tank! Still in the planning stage

What other catfish are there which are a similar shape to these and Pictus cats?
