No I havent bred otos before, although like you said it does seem that otos breed kind of coincidentally in aquariums, at least according to some people I know.

Right now, I am trying to get more zebra otos, they're a beautiful alternative to the common otos, but I cant find more!! anywhere.

Thanks for the reply, I wanted fish for mid level water, I wanted the tigrinus to be the sole bottom dweller, although a stingray does seem interesting, I will look into that.

The cichlid you suggegsted seems pretty good, but would they get territorial? also I wanted fish that would compliment the ...

My digital pics of my plecos are always out of focus, HELP!

I keep trying to take digital pics of my two plecs, L066 and L200, in my tank but the pics are always out of focus.

I use a Minolta Dimage digital camera with 4x mega pixel, 3x optical. I try with flash, no flash, day, night, but nothing seems to work. My tank glass is clean. I think it is the ...

Thanks for the reply. I do have two separate makeshift caves out of rock made at opposite ends of the tank.

But I do have one more concern, the L200 seems to be active and not that scared to come out in daylight to roam the tank floor, but the L066 is extremely shy and timid even in his own 10 ...

Are my L200 and L066 compatible?

First time poster to this message board. I recently fell in love with exotic plecos and have competely overhauled my 29gallon tank to suit a couple I found.

I have a Yellow king Tiger Pleco L066 which is about 3.5 inches right now, and have a Spotted Green Pleco L200 which is about 4.5 ...
