The first one is MY fish....and it's imported as 236 but I m still looking ...

IMO, it's just maturity that causes the change in pattern. Young L260 like the one in my avatar have very broad stripes and not many of them, but as they grow and have more fish to cover with the same pattern, it makes the pattern look less distinct. It's still stripes with close to the same width ...

Well, I think that Janne is as close an expert as you'll get, and if he asks you why you think it's NOT L173, then I have to ask the same thing, as that's the one I'd say it is, and from inference, it seems like Janne thinks so too.

But if you have some information that means that L173 is ruled ...

I have been looking at the pictures of 262 and it's not quite the same but it's not like 260 either...so I wonder it's a kinda "mixed" or somehow a "new species"

Um...yes, it's some kinda Hypancistrus...it's sold as L260 (it's mixed together with others L260 for sale) and hope this info helps!!!

It was sold as 173 but its pattern is special. it's definitely not a 134, haha..i hope its a 236...

I think those are L173 as per pictures in Aqualog.

L173 on this site is synonymous to Hypancistrus zebra , which is NOT the case in Aqualog, and I beleive the latter is "more correct".

Even L174 can have these kind of pattern even that yours look very similar to L287-L399-L400 but...their eyes seams to be to small to be these species. It's a little hard to tell from the pics but does all species have small eyes?
Pic 3 looks to have bigger eyes and if so it's L287-L399-L400 and ...

Whilst I'm far from the expert that Silurus is, I'd say that they are probably all L174 - it's a fairly variable species, so as long as they have SIMILAR patterning and body shape, same mouth (which would be useful to have a shot of), I'd call them the same species.
