Thanks for the advice i have released the female into the tank and gave th male his own tank. i think i will buy another pictus as they seemed to get along well when they were together.

I'm looking to get some Java moss for my tanks, but can't seem to locate any from snail-free sources.

im not sure where you could get it from but i good idea would be to go to your lfs and ask if they could put some in a tank with with a yoyo (reticulated) loach... if they stock them. Because ...

personnally i have 2 moss balls in my tank (freebies from my lfs) although my corys havent spawned yet so im not sure on what theyre like

ok so far i have a nearly stocked tank and i just wanted to one more in. it has slowly become a south american catfish tank.

dimensions are:
L24 X H18 X W12

Specs:
well planted with dwarf hygrophelia and parrot feather.
1mm gravel substrate.
backing on back.
2 bettas (male & female) in jars ...
