Can you be more specific with the parameter numbers please. PLease define "no cause for concern!" Also, how big is your tank, how is it filtered, etc, etc.

Plecs are territorial, you may have inadvertantly upset the balance of the tank, causing aggression and eventually death to the weaker (newer ...

I've got 4 fishtanks with a L66 plec, 3 Panda Cories, tetras, angelfish and soon to have a frog. I'm a student from britain and i'm a girl.

Otos are very sensitive to PH shock, and will often just die, without obvious cause. They are also schooling fish, so yours was probably very stressed and lonely.

You need at least 4-5 in a tank, and introduce them slowly over 2-3 hours.
