I have two about 1 inch in length. I throw in the occasional algae waffer, earthworm sticks, etc. but I have never seen them eat anything else.

Dry food for Hera Jerdoni?
Besides tubiflex worms what can I feed my hera jerdoni.
I have two about 1 inch in length. I throw in the occasional algae waffer, earthworm sticks, etc. but I have never seen them eat anything else.

Having kept and bred this small Erethids now for some years it is my experience that apart from Frozen foods like bloodworms, they tend not to feed to well upon dry commercial foods; others have said that they have seen their H jerdoni feed upon flake and tablet foods, but I have found that the best foods to feed in order to keep them for any length of time is live foods such as daphnia, cyclops, grindal worms,small blood worms & newly hatched brine shrimp.
