hi there,
all ican sy is the samme catch it wrap the whole fish in a wet towel to holt is and cet the other fish or what ever it is out. the catfish should not really bite your finger if you got large tweezers even better. if it is a fish pull it out by the mouth side backwards will noot be possible...

what kind of food do you give it to eat??

we finally found a doctor after searching forever. we took him, and the doctor ( a little old man that worked out of his garage lol) put him into a bath of anestetics (sp?) and knocked him out. then took a pair of needlenose plyer and puller it out. it was pretty much over in 5 mins.

Whew! We were all holding our breath and had fingers crossed!

Send that old man vet some serious cookies! We should all be so lucky to have someone like that close by and Mr.Lee is lucky to have someone who kept trying! Good work

he's doing pretty good. doctor said he'd be woozey for a bit as the medicine wore off. but once he was back in his tank, he was swimming around and then chilled out for the rest of the night. he was slow to eat though, and isn't eating as much as usual. he must be sore. but im sure after a few days he'll get back into the swing of things.

He'll be ok for a few days without food while any soreness disappears - sounds like he's well on the road to recovery
