L168-52 Identification

Post by Rabbit »

I have accquired some of what i beleive to be 52 as my 168 are very cleanly barred and lack the extremety of odontodes as the newly accpuired ?52?. I have matched the hard and soft ray count as that of 52 in its profile but dont know what the l168s hard soft ray count is?
Any help appreciated.

The fin ray counts should be identical for both. You'll need to be looking at other characters.

Thanks silurus is there anyother charateristic noted that you know of?
The pattern of the newbies is more like an l333 as apposed to the l168s very clean lines.

Why don't you post some pics? I'm sure someone here will confirm the ID.
