LG6 whiptail - rfi

I'm looking for information on LG6 whiptail. It's spawned for me and I now want to claim it as 'first time bred' with my fish club. To do this I need some basic information:

1. Country of origin
2. Expected adult size (SL)

Also does anybody know why it is known as LG6? Why not just an L number?

Thanks.

L stands for loricariidae
G stands for genus
6 is just a consecutive number

LG-numbers were given to fish of the family loricariidae which for some reason couldn't be put into a genus (e.g. Sturisomatichtys).

It is also sometimes referred to in the UK show circuit by the nomem nudum Sturisomatichthys foerschi.

Hi flash, not sure why you're sorry???
The fish I have spawn at about the same interval though they lay around 150-200 eggs each time. I'm raising about 90% of the fry. They do prefer meaty foods to veggie stuff.
