I haven't been able to find any conclusive answers! How big do Spotted Bullheads (
) get? I've heard anywhere from 8" to 24"! Can someone answer, once and for all? :D

Boschung & Mayden (Fishes of 'bama), which may be considered the most authoritative work on the freshwater fishes of the southeastern US, gives a maximum size of 230mm/9" SL.

From what I know average size for the Spotted BullHead is 7-9inches long normally but specimens that are well cared for and eat reguarly can get up to around 12inches maybe bigger.
Hope This Helps.
