I was looking at the catfish on aquabid. I was noticeing the prices of young albino bristlenoses....generally ranging from $20 for 5, $25 for 7 and $20 for 10. All of prices seem very fair until I looked at this one:
http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/ ... 1055544054
Notice that the price is for 1 pleco, that is anywhere for 3/4 inches - 1 1/2 inches!!!Those must be some special albino bristlenoses
Thought you all might enjoy.

that place that's selling it usually has higer prices that anyone else. actually, if you follow some of the auctions, you'll find that many people don't bid due to the prices. also, they charge a lot for shipping. i was thinking of buying something from them a while ago, but shipping would have been over $50! that's way higher than other places, and for more expensive fish. not worth it. they well zebra's as well, usually for $80 plus $50-60 shipping.

without looking, is it Benny? That bastard's always gouging prices(or has an expensive supplier) in catfish area, dunno about elsewhere.
it all depends here, dwarf bristlenose are expensive, regular aren't...
