Hello, my C. aeneus spawned three days ago. Are any of these eggs fertilized? Some are completely white, others have white and/or black spots inside, some are brownish without any spots inside.
Thanks, and sorry for the quality of the pictures

Hi Denis- congratulations!
the completely white ones are infertile and have fungused; the brownish ones are fertile. You should (carefully) remove the white eggs as the fungus may spread to the fertile ones. If they spawned 3 days ago they should be hatching soon, depending on temperature.
I've only bred Brochis splendens so far, and they took 4 days to hatch.
