Which Otocinclus am I?

Which Otocinclus do you think this is? I can't decide :?

One of the 13 or so species with a color pattern like that. These things are horribly difficult to identify (unless they are dead).

Like but not identical, look at the caudal fin. On one fish the black caudal blotch strays well onto the fin and in the other it does not. Also the back patterning looks different, but this can be very misleading as it changes with mood/conditioning. There are some other minor differences.

I've spent many hours trying to ID various Otocinclus using external characteristics and it's very hard, usually impossible especially if you do not know what part of South America they came from.

The irony of all this is that the easiest to ID member of the genus (the zebra oto) is not described! (Yet).

LOL you'd think zebra otos would at least have a discription. Anyways, about the caudal fin. That's why I'm have trouble identifying. I didn't see any with this particular pattern in the cat-elog...
I was hoping that I could get an at least close positive ID for my website. Looks like it was a vain hope though LOL!

I have studied Scott Schaefer's paper on otocinclus and the nearest that I can get to your fish from a visuall point of view is O. hoppei
