HI there,
I bought some coconuts to act as spawning caves for my bristlenose. Has anyone fed the coconut to the fish? Ive popped it in my tank and they punced on it but I was wondering if anyone had done this before and if not are there any reasons why I shouldnt feed it to them. I have a L25 in there too but i doubt he would have a go at it.
Thanks

I have. I wouldn't feed MUCH of the white "meat" of the coconut, but a little bit once in a while is certainly fine.

I put some in every now and then. It looks cool in the tank. And the bn swarm it
unknown how much they eat. They get bored after the initial Attack.

Yes, I've feed it before while it is eaten, it fouls the water very quickly, and I don't use it for that reason but love it.
