Synodontis Lucipinnis & PWZ natural diet

There is some discussion going on elsewhere about "Green Diets" and the Tanganyikan Synodontis lucipinnis and
polli white Zambia.
To me is told that PWZ needs a more carnivorous diet than lucipinnis and that lucipinnis do need veggie food from time to time.

Can somebody tell me what kind of diet both species have in there natural environment and what there difference in habitat is ?

I cannot tell you about diets in the wild although i can speculate if you want me to(?)...

In captivity though i would say that diet is not really much of an issue as both feed on whatever is offered & neither is fussy at all. Feeding a wide variety of foodstuffs is they key to good health here, & none of the synos i have seems to have suffered in any way due to the diet offered. If PWZ had a marked preference for a 'meatier' diet i find it surprising that they really like cooked dwarf (french) beans so much - far more than lucipinnis who show little interest.
