In Tadjikistan cought H. Heleher possibly new species of genus Myersglanis.

Looks like the fish in the picture has a truncate caudal??? I thought Myersglanis have a forked caudal.

Heiko's identification of Asian cats sucks big time (I still remember his identification of
Helicophagus leptorhynchus as a new species of
Pangasius in one of his magazines).
That's not
Myersglanis, but most likely
Glyptosternon reticulatum. Compare with the photo of a fish caught in the upper Indus River drainage (photo courtesy of the Swedish Museum of Natural History):

Perfect!!!! I see it has been reported from Tajikistan too.Is this genus the only Glyptosterninae with a truncate caudal HH???

Some Oreoglanis have truncate caudal fins, as do Euchiloglanis and most Pareuchiloglanis and Creteuchiloglanis.
