Hi,
after a long time of search, today i got my first Chiloglanis sp. Ordered as Chiloglanis batesii, delivered as "Chiloglanis mixed".
I think C. batesii is not correct. Probably C. asymetricaudalis, C. occidentalis or an other one?
They have a size of around 4-4,5 cm and if i see correctly a sexual dimorphism.
Following some photos:

Very nice! I bought some myself
I suppose the are from Ruinemans or at least the same import, because Ruinemans is selling them now. In that way they are from Congo

If you change the language on the site you find different things (why?) in France he tells it's C.batessi and only in Dutch he says its from Congo.

Why not? Based on the lower lip morphology, color pattern and from what I can see of the mandibular teeth,
C. batesii appears to be closest.

Hi,
please excuse my late response to your postings!
Yes, they came from Ruinemanns.
I have had no luck with these little guys. I have lost 6 of 10 in the first week. They have had a very quick breathing and bloody gills. Probably a acid burn?! First time they doesn´t eat anything. I´ve tried a lot of different food. Now the last 4 fishes looks fine, but i think they are all females. They are very shy, so i can´t make more and better photos at the moment.
I will try to get more of them....

Yes they eat now! First i have tried frozen Cyclops, Brine Shrimp and Mosquito larvae without any visible success. Then i have tried different flakes, granulate, freeze dried and decapsulated brine shrimp. Now they get a mix from all these and they eat.
BUT THE BEST, what they really like are cooked noodles (without salt or any spice). I feed them only a small piece every few days, because it´s not good for the water.
Hope your fishes will eat as soon as possible... try the noodles!
