Asian catfish placements...

We have a script that runs every week, and updates the subfamily for different species. It also reports inconsistencies between our data and the Fishbase/CoF data it references. So one day I went through to check the reports. This is a selection that I think we should look at:

Rama chandramara should be Chandramara chandramara, I think.

and , :
Family of genus (sisoridae) and CoF family (Erethistidae) mismatch

Name not matching for CoF data:
We have: CoF: Leiocassis poecilopterus
Apparently renamed by Kottelat in http://rmbr.nus.edu.sg/rbz/biblio/s27/rbz_S27.pdf (2013)

Can I have some guidance from someone that knows/understands the nomenclature and placement of these...

Also:

Family of genus (bagridae) and CoF family (Olyridae) mismatch.

Family of genus (siluridae) and CoF family (Kryptoglanidae) mismatch.

Rama and Chandramara are the same thing. Rama is the older name (I have been guilty of treating Chandramara as valid and contributing to the confusion).

PC is correct.

Thanks, HH.

The one fix is done.

I suppose I need to tell Bill Eschmeyer that he's wrong... ;)
