C082 Corydoras loxozonus
Has anyone here had any first hand experience with loxozonus? Are they more deilcate than other cory cats or pretty much the same. My fish order had to be changed (after my reserved fish were accidenly sold) and the shop keeper has given me some loxozonus instead of my orginal choice.

Stocking Advise - want to add more catfish but not sure
Hi,
My tank is 100cm x 40cm x 55 cm but I only fill the water level up to 44cm because the way I like to have the filter (with the water breaking the surface). I make that to be 220 liters (58.118 US gallons or 48.393 imperial gallons). I currently have three spotted hoplos, 11 corries and 10 ...

Re: Synodontis nigriventris, are they safe with fish tiny fi
Thanks for the info!
So, if I don't have six or more I will hardly see them at all? When in an ideal situration of a good group will I see they quite regularly or will they hide away still?
I'm so tempted to buy some but just want to double check they are right for me.

Re: Synodontis nigriventris, are they safe with fish tiny fi
Thanks everyone for your input, it sounds as though they would be fine, which leads me on to my second question....
Do you think I have room for three of them in my tank? 100 x 40 x 55 cm
My current stocking is 11 cories, three spotted hoplo and 10 rasboras.

Synodontis nigriventris, are they safe with fish tiny fish?
Hi,
I'm thinking of adding Synodontis nigriventris to my 30 gallon tank but I have tiny shoaling fish of 5 cm / 1.75 in there, and so would like to know if they are safe with them. I have read horror stories about other catfish that come under the banner "upside down catfish" eating tiny fish, so ...

Re: hoplo catfish - help me choose please, please. :-)
Thanks so much for the wonderful answers. I am getting very excited about getting Hoplos now. And it seems I can have some Corys in with them too (Yay!). I plan to go for thoracata as I don't think my tank would be big enough long term for the Littorale. :)

I want to get some Hoplo catfish after reading how much character they have and watching a number of You Tube videos with hoplos of various sizes. I've also read that some, with patience, can feed from the hand and that they aren't the least bit shy. Active none shy fish really appeal to me.
