Hi,
My tank is 100cm x 40cm x 55 cm but I only fill the water level up to 44cm because the way I like to have the filter (with the water breaking the surface). I make that to be 220 liters (58.118 US gallons or 48.393 imperial gallons). I currently have three spotted hoplos, 11 corries and 10 Harlequin Rasboras.
I'd like to add more catfish to the tank and I'm wondering what the best choice for the room I have is. I warm some midwater swimmers preferably.
On my wish list is:
Synodontis nigriventris
Dianema longibarbis
Brochis splendens
I don't want fish I never see, so I'm wondering how many of either of my choices would I need to make them more outgoing and if I have room in my tank?

I have a tank of similar volume, and I ahve a few more fish than what you have, and it's probably one of my least heavily stocked tanks.
I would choose B. splendens, they are active and not shy! The others will be less outgoing to some degree.
