I like the layout of those tanks, simple but suitable for the fish being kept. The 100g tank looks good with that mix of sand, stones & wood, though it would be better with a background to hide the cords

btw I think you meant to say the last pic is of a swimming room, not a living room!

Grokefish,
You sort of complained that your plants won't grow in your tanks. How come? The tanks seem to be lit enough afaics.
I like your 50 & 100 tanks best; they don't look like temporary set ups. The 300 could do with some more decoration imo, but I take it this will become the Xingu tank?

Nice set ups you have there grokefish. I really like the fat and sassy Colombian tetras. They are locally hard to get and I finally found six scrawny ones and only two were salavageable. They are nice when you have as many as you do.
I stll haven't had any success spawning my T. perugiae. Nothing has come of what I took for a mating, yet.
It is different to place your tanks low to the ground but if I had more floor space I would like a tank st up that way. It seems like it would be conducive to plopping down on the carpet to watch the catfish but I have discus in my show tank and they don't like it when they can't look down over their surroundings. I had to remove my 6 Sturisoma nigirostrum because they began damaging the skin on the sides of my 10 Heckel discus. It's too bad because they are such a cool Loriacaridid but they nearly killed several and rasped all raw the discus' skin raw.
I thought you were in the Netherlands for some reason but I see I was off by a few kilomemeters.
