Help my redtail pls!

Post by classic2pal »

Hi,
My redtail(3 inches)is bitten of badly on top, i.e. the dorsal fin is bitten of completely and the flesh can be seen white. only that no other part is hurt even a bit. I think the Doradidae Platydoras costatus fish should have fought with it because it too is hurt in the same place, but not badly.ShovelNose too was there with it, but no worries there.
I have separated all the fish. Could you`ll please suggest any treatment i could give my redtail.
Pls advice.
Regards,
Naveen

Good, clean water is the most important thing you can provide. 10-20 percent daily water changes will provide an environment in which the fish can heal and lessen the chance of infection.
