right so picked this guy up at work to day some one brought it in and no one really knows what he i posted over in the planted tank before and thought i would try here.
Dont know what you've got there but Im glad you were able to rescue it. Wherever it was before it got to you sure took a toll on its fins. It should be easier to id once its fins grow back. Hope you can nurse it back to health.
don't think he is ether of those hes more unified gray with white tips on his fins. also not sure if this is because of damage but he has no caudal fin is sort of a nub really with a white tip. it seams to smooth so i don't think is because he lost it some time.
hmmm, not too sure but looking at it again it looks like the tail was never there in the first place. it has the white tips on the top and bottom rays to suggest that its not been damaged??
the tail is really what i'm confused about. also he has white tips on all his fins. if i could find him again i'll take a picture but my tank is just geting to the point that all the plants have really grown in so might take a while to rouse him from his hiding spot
The tail of your fish has been badly injured...it is healing and growing back a bit, but still not to the normal point...
Yes L314 laso have small white tips
Cheers
