feather fin cat question
feather fin cat question
I have a 55 gal. with a 5 inch Severum and a slightly smaller Blood Parrot Cichlid with a 4 inch featherfin cat. I want to put in another featherfin since I really like them. Will this be a problem? Any terratorial issues?
Re: feather fin cat question
I also forgot to ask, someone told me they like PVC pipe to hide in. Is this true?

Re: feather fin cat question
Featherfins will do OK in a group - to avoid bad fights, however, you may want to go for three or four.
They want to hide a bit, whether it's a PVC pipe (utilitarian but not very pretty) or a piece of wood, rock or similar (looks more natural).

Re: feather fin cat question
I have plenty of rockwork set up with plenty of hiding places so maybe i'll stay away from PVC. Thanks for the reply!

Hi and Welcome to Planet Catfish if this is your first dip in the water
I'm still somewhat newbie but getting a paler green with time..,
Are these your featherfin cats -> ?
My LFS (local fish store) has named three different cats as featherfins...
Feel free to post pics of your cats, It's always nice to oo and aah about someone else's fish.

Racing, shoes and fish. Nothing else matters. Oh, and bacon.
