I think by "G" Rob meant 1000, you know, as in "grand"... 126,000 gal or liters...

50000 gallon tank. You'd better start considering that, since you will need something like it...

Yep, Mats is right. He tends to be right so often it is irritating... (Just joking Mats!) At the pace we are going, or at least I am going, we will need 50,000 gal 5 years (!!) sooner than we realize.

I'd not do it the way this is done - I'd move to a year-round warm place and try to imitate what I saw professionals make, i.e., try for a pond or rather a series of ponds (in green houses or not depends where). The pond(s) would have one glass wall - just like most big 10,000-1,000,000 gal tanks in public and private Aquaria are set up and even zoos, not necessarily for fish but also for otters, polar bears, sea lions, etc...

BTW, several of local enthusiasts have met the owner and seen the 50,000 gal monster tank live - it's not too far from here - Windsor, Canada, if I am not mistaken, right at the border with USA. The closest big city is, I think, Detroit MI.

Hi Victor / all

Link attached, i think (Some of the Beauties)
http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/view ... 98&start=0

The True Tigrinnus is about 14" not including any of its wonderful extensions.
And yes the Planiceps survived the dreaded Ick - thanks in part to some of the info I received on here and also from suggestions from Neil @ Pier & Keith @ wildwoods respectively. (UK Trop outlets)

Apologise Bimmer /Disk on the confusion.
