Are Syno eupterus fry eaters?
I have a group of juvenile Synodontis eupterus temporarily in with my ameca splendens. One of my amecas is now pregnant and I would like to keep the fry. Do I need ot worry about the eupterus eating the fry?

Re: Are Syno eupterus fry eaters?
They will probably eat the fry if they show themselves near the Syno. The fry are (from what I read) quite large, and if they generally stay at the surface, I'd expect them to not be MUCH of a target.
Synos are not predators, but they will of course take opportunities when they are present, just like nearly all fish.
