hey guys.
ive got a 35L x 25 H x 20W cm tank i want to use to breed some cory's in (its a tiny bit bigger than that, just rounded off,)
if anyone has and pics of setups or any info that would be great .... how many would fit in that tank ?.
if anyone has any for sale im melbourne pm me ,
sand substrate, air powered sponge filter (or air provided to a p/head running a sponge filter or hang outside type filter, a clump of java moss & some reasonably energetic water movement at part of the surface.
edit - have you checked all the info in the breeding section in Shane's world? It should provide you with plenty to go with

World reknowned cory experts - Fuller & Evers both say that gravel is unnatural & corys live on sand in the natural habitat - maybe silt with a little leaf litter for some. They feed by sand sifting so gravel is not really appropriate: a fine round grain sand is what is needed - kids playsand or pool filter sand will work but only 5-10mm depth is needed

im in need for a setup pic, what do i need to use for them ??? caves, etc what ??? ive never bred fish before or kept cory's outside my communal tank, infact ive only ever kept corys once when i was 7 and they only lasted a month
hi there,
best is to feed them with wormlike live food...less moaquito larvae..but worms...like
Tubifex tubifex...the females should prudoce much more eggs than with any other food...a friend told me.
keep them in normal middle hars water during 2-3 weeks then make waterchanges 50% 1st day 80% 2nd day...best it during a weatherchange outside...droping into low preasure...
i was at a market at today and bought 2 tinyyyy bristlenoses and went to a petshop and bought some juvie bronze cory's.
im going to raise them in the tank im setting up tommorow (they are in a takeaway container in my communal tank atm.)
