L30?

Post by Cristoffer Forssander »

Hi!

Some years ago I brought this L30? In the LFS I saw a L213 female, but the owner cought this fish instead. I newer realised it untill I got back home... 25 miles from the store.
I think its an Oligancistrus. Perhaps L30. It have just a few small spots on the head. And the dorsal fin is connected with the membran fin.

Could somebody till me if this is L30? She is about 12 cm TL.
And I think it is a she, but I'm not sure. If so, I will try getting her a male.

Looks like a L030 to me.
I have a group of 10 in my tanks, when they grow bigger, we can find a mate for this one

Ok! Then it is a L30 for sure. Could it be a female?
I havn't find any images to compare with. I have a L20 male and he has a much broader head.

Ole, perhaps I could make a visit to Oslo soon. I'll try to make it to the 29 of januari.

Bob... I find it quite fast growing. Mine has grown about 5 cm in a year and I haven't fed her/him that much.
What did you fed you're fishes?

I think the spots are to small for a L30 and L30 only grow to 3" you say the fish in the picture is 12cm

very nice pleco though

So I could have Parancistrus nudiventris L031, female?

Mazzi, there are clear differences between you're species and mine...

Could I take some other shots to clarify this better. Is there any differeces in fins between Parancistrus and Oligancistrus?
