L066 gender, please
I don't know if it will be possible to determine gender based on these photos or not. I have a terrible time with macro settings on my camera, and I don't have any other L066 to put for comparison. I will say, though, that there's no real significant odontodes at the cheeks. And this pleco has a fairly substantial build - not exactly slender. Total length is about 4 inches (the ruler in the photo is placed to start at 1 inch).

I'm not sure, but looks female to me - head is quite narrow compared to the body, and the pectorals aren't very thick, and as you mention, not that much "hair"...
