Synodontis petricola or S. lucipinnis?

Synodontis petricola or S. lucipinnis? I know, this question is brought up all the time, but I have photos that will help in my case. I was sold 5 petricola's which are probably Lucipinnis according to most fish forums like this one discussing the topic. Most LFS miss label the petricola, and was wondering if any of the Synodontis experts out there can confirm which of this species it is?
I have seen the comparisons shown on a few websites, but I think I really need someone to visually tell me what they think they are. Not the best photo shots, so let me know if you need better ones. Not always easy to get these little buggers to stop for photo ops.

Thanks Dave. I also posted a link to my photo page if anybody needs more photos to ID them. (Although, I think this is the best of the lot to ID them by)
I am pretty sure one of them is for sure a Lucipinnis, (my first one) although I bought him under the name of Petricola. The other 4 were from a reputable LFS, but still not sure they got it right either.

Well, 4 of the 5 look like the one in the photo, the other one, could very well be a hybrid. The LFS that I got him at was not as good. It has the bigger spots all over the body.
Also, if you go into the photobucket site with all of my fish photos, there is one Synodontis that has always had a krimpt sp: tale that you can see in the photos. He might have had it damaged in a number of ways, (moving rocks, born that way, catching him the net), but he's my favorite, because he was picked on when I put him in as my last addition. Got him cheap, so no problem. All great fish, and they all get along with my Blue Acara's. They even nibble, or whatever on the sides of the BA's like they were cleaning them. The Blue Acara's don't seem to mind, so it must not be a bite or anything.

I concur with Birger. The specimen in the above pic looks like S. lucipinnis.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but am still learning about the Cats etc .. especially the differences between these particular Syno's.

The Cat-eLog states "S. petricola and S. lucipinnis are the only species with a solid white leading dorsal and pectoral fin ray and the spotted body pattern"

Now as some may know I have what I was lead to believe as Syno Multi's but as pointed out to me on a different thread they look more like Petricola.

The Question I would like to ask is .. Given the above Cat-eLog quote what is meant by "Leading" does it mean as I assume the front bit as in the pictures (which is white then dark)?

Really asking as the image given in this thread really resembles one of my Syno's .. I need to double check again tomorrow but starting to wonder if I have a total mismatch of these 3 Syno's.

Yes, it is at the front...at the front of the dorsal fin is a hard spine, in both and this hard spine is white.

If you look at the dorsal fins here and here you will see the rear section of the dorsal fin on these species is white.

Birger - Yes I see what your saying .. just been in the darkened room and used my little halogen torch and indeed the guys I have have the white at the rear of the fins.

I am thinking about selling them, what do lucipinnis seem to fetch on local fish forums and craigslist as price goes?
They are all about 3"
