It sounds like you have a diatom bloom. Tanks go through that when they are first establishing a balance. If your tank has only been up a couple months, then don't panic, it will go away on its own in a few weeks usually. Then the green algae that the bristlenose loves to munch on will start to appear.

i just put 2 small bushey nose in my tank, saturday and i haven't seen them since? i hope "lord apophis",my 3" Chocky hasn't struck again?!?!?
i found the remains of a gold nugget in the same tank,; i bought the busheynose to replace them, but apophis loves live bait!!!
