Trachelyopterus fisheri
The clog profile says "the nape and the enlarged dorsal spine make it look more like an Ageneiosis or a Tetranematichthys. As far as we know, T. fisheri is the only member of its genus that has these features to this extent."
T. badeli, T. insignis, and T. teaguei, and to a lesser degree T. amblops, all have this feature.

See bold [now blue. -Ed] print. I believe I wrote that 5 years ago and had not heard of - let alone seen - the species you mention (except for T. insignis).The.Dark.One wrote:The clog profile says "the nape and the enlarged dorsal spine make it look more like an Ageneiosis or a Tetranematichthys. Will change when I have some spare time.

There must be something wrong with your display then.[Mod edit: Changed "bold" to "blue", as on my display it was hard to tell the difference between bold and not bold in the quoted text --Mats]

Re: Trachelyopterus fisheri
I was on my work computer, and it certainly didn't look as different as it does here. Not sure why - there's a fair number of things different, so not sure what that may be caused by.

And it indeed said "Ageneiosis", which is rather sad. Changed that too.
Thanks for the spot.
