definitely a Sturisoma, but we need a picture of the fish in the aquarium with no fingers on it!
one of the key marks is the coloration on the body at the implant of the dorsal fin.
we can't see it, because of the fingers.
with the aureum/festivum/cf festivum clade the brown band goes up and touches the dorsal; but for example S barbatum, nigrirostrum and the true panamense have a light margin between dark lateral band and dorsal.

Just curious since i have a breeding pair of aureum and are much small in size could it still be aureum?
We would really need some pics to hazard an ID. I have attached a photo below of freshly captured specimens in Colombia. I think you will agree that they are the same fish you posted above.
