Hate to tell you but that is a hybrid!!!

Kidding :d

That is great Petterei, what is the size of the ornatipinnis, I am guessing about 12 cm. Just wondering how the size is coinciding with the pattern.

Hope the Chiloglanis settle in for you.

The look in good health as well.

Great find.

The body does look unusually marbled (as opposed to striped)for what looks like a smaller specimen, but clearly not one of the horrible hybrids being passed off as Ornatipinnis.
Lou: Every young man's fantasy is to have a three-way.
Jacob: Yeah not with another fu**!ng guy!
Lou: It's still a three-way!

Ornatipinnis? Heck, they have so many of them down at the LFS by me, that they are giving them away to anyone who comes near the place. Kidding! :))

Sweet find! I'm not sure I've ever seen one in person. How many did you get?

Hybrid, not this time :-BD .

Size of this is around 12cm, you have a good eye.

One of the Chiloglanis died but others are doing fine, just have to wait how they survive. Not easy to keep alive, I know.

I only got one but it is already a real "pet".

Kind of funny that it acts different than most other synos, couple days after I put it to tank it's already settled down. And already follows the finger, which takes many weeks for most synos if they ever does it. Searching it for years and when I finally got it, it's much more interesting that I never thought.
This really is a great cat! b-)
