Microsynodontis spawning.
Hi all.
I have tried spawning my pair of Microsynodontis on two occasions now, the first time I got eggs but in my haste I disturbed everything and the eegs were soon consumed. 10 days ago I tried again and I thought that they had spawned, only this time I left the tank well alone. I went away for a few days and I returned home earlier today.
I spent some time checking my fry tanks out and then my breeding tanks to make sure nothing needed urgent attention; however, I decided to check my egg trap out and found to my delight that there were 5, one week old fry, these I moved to a fry tank. ( I later found some more fry in the tank itself ).
I think that the Microsynodontis could be one of two species, but I am leaning towards 'sp 1'.
Has anyone else got an opinion on what species of Microsynodontis I have spawned?

Re: Microsynodontis spawning.
HI All,
I hope none you will not take any offence as none is intended.
But; as anyone who knows me well, will agree that as a committee member of the http://www.catfishstudygroup.org I always put them first, after all I am also a participant in the CSG breeders award programme. So I will be waiting for the fry to grow some, and then I will make a full report in the CSG Journal after that a report will go out on my small site and then PCF. So some of you will either have to join the CSG or wait a little until the relevant Journal has gone out to the membership of the CSG.
