Nothing unexpected. They are very eager eaters so I have to really throw in enough food so the other fish can eat as well.
And when I put my
in, they bit one, repeatedly and it was eventually eaten.
It was a very small M. thoracata so not really a surprise. Since, they haven't eaten any of the smaller residents.
They behave very well and really are eyecatchers.

It's a new tank. I moved last saturday and had a tank made here at my new home so I wouldn't have to move the other tank.
The tank's dimensions are 300cmx100cmx70 and filtered over 2 internal filters (both 3000lph Eheim compact+ 3000).
I'm very happy with that system. I use it on my small breeding tanks.
The current is quite strong. I used to have 2 powerheads on my tank, but because the filters don't need to move the water
very high, the output is very strong.
