At a rough level, the white spotted Baryancistrus in the Rio Tocantins is the phantom species but also we have which is, surprise surprise, a white spotted Baryancistrus from the Rio Tocantins.
Is there any reason (other than no ones really looked at it) why these two are not one and the same?
Cheers,
Jools
Why isn't L003 = Baryancistrus longipinnis???
