Syno sp. (7)
Syno sp. (7)
In the Cat-eLog they show a Synodontis sp' (7). Anyone care to guess what species it might be? Hopefully the answer isn't "hybrid"!

is where the pictures came from. Many guesses to the ID in there, but don't think they are hybrids.

As the fish in the pictures are mine, I certainly hope they're not hybrids. I recently got the Aqualog Photo Collection 1 on African Catfish and there's a picture of a fish, which I think is identical to mine. They're referred to as Synodontis cf. waterloti. In the Cat-eLog they show a Synodontis sp' (7). Anyone care to guess what species it might be? Hopefully the answer isn't "hybrid"!
I intend to ask Silurus for his opinion on the matter when he returns from his fishing trip.
Have you by any chance ever seen similar fish ?
