Sad to see George has closed his place.....have been coming here for rare cats for quite a few years.....I happen to be in NJ today and was planning on stopping in until I saw the post here, that he was closed. Does anyone know if he's still there selling stuff?

AFAIK, George Fear is out of the business for good. Boy do I hope to be corrected though!

Yeah, it was a great place for me....maybe he'll try another location? Visited another store in tbat same area in NJ, great selection of rare Central American, south american cichlids...all the catfish were misnamed, not fed......we need George back!!
And...I'm from Long Island where we only have one large store that will get the weird stuff!
Let me know if you hear anything.....Catfish Con. Coming up in October!

I think George has retired.

There are two MFK chapters in NJ and those guys know all the stores in NJ and NYC area. Monster Aquarium appears to have taken much of the load that was on Shark Aquarium. It's a great place too. IDK if they'd have 700+ running fish tanks as George had.
