Species Identification - L107/L184

I purchased some wild caught L107/L184 (Brilliant Bristlenoses). There does appear to be a bit of variation in the background color of a couple. Most are jet black while a couple have a more brownish tint. (The flash on one of the pictures makes the difference a bit greater than it is in actuality.) They are very reclusive so it is possible that the same individuals' color is changing according to mood - I don't know. Is a little variation normal among L107s? If some of these are not L107 what could they be?

I should also add, I'm pretty sure I saw the brownish one in the picture at one point showing spots on only half of its body and then a little later they covered its whole body again. The part that was temporarily un spotted was in the shadows during the day so it's possible it was my eyes playing tricks on me.

I got this today from Lars Jamne regarding the first picture:

"Seems to be pretty young still, just keep an eye on it and see how the colours develops. Mostly mine have been real black, but some here and there have been less black before they got adult size."

I'll wait and see...
