Help with ID'ing a "hopefully" Breeding Colony of 4

Post by AussieSam »

Okay Long story short, but I ended up buying a guys entire setup in order to get his tanks, and there was a heap of L's that he had been breeding, but didnt know the species. Judging by the condition they were kept in (Nitrate over 200ppm and water nearly black), he obviously didnt care about them.

The one's I know so far are: L201 Pair, Longfin Albino quad, Peppermint Pair, L080 that was alone, L134 Quad.

So over the next week while I rehome them into my new rack setup, I'll try to get some good photos and try to ID the rest of them..

I've kept them seperate into which tank they came out of, so they should all be the same type... I'm hoping these are all breeding fish as I'd love to get some babies!

Anyway, onto the first lot!

Hi

The others are actually two species: The slightly darker one is a Hypancistrus, maybe L270; the reddish ones are a Peckoltia sp., possibly juveniles of L80. Do you have lateral pics of both?
