help to id a non-catfish
Hi! Today is not a catfish related question, if possible. A week ago I obtained a group of nice characins and was wondering on their identity. They fairly large, around 6-7 cm. No details on origin. I would appreciate if anyone from catfish community could help to id them or refer to the resource where someone can help. Thanks ahead, DM

Hah! That middle picture, the characin looks like a gourami because of the catfish barbles.

Re: help to id a non-catfish
Thanks for your replies! I have looked on the images of those Tetragonopterus species and they don't look like mine tetras. Color and eye size (?) are different. Originally I was thinking on some species of Moenkhausia but couldn't find a match. Now I am thinking that it might be a species of Astyanax... but again no proof. I would appreciate any other opinions. I hope someone had similar before.
And yeah, that Ompok eugeneiatus made that characin looks like gourami Hahaha
Thank again,
DM
