it's an Upside down black Cat Fish.

Any of you have any experience with this particular fish and care to share your experience with me?

He seems to be a pretty cool fish, I have him in a 55 gallon with a Dolphin Fish. And both seem to like each other. They swim from one end to the other end sorta like racing.

I have two Upsidedown Catfish. Mine never seem to swim upsidedown though. They are pretty easy to keep. Just feed them every 1 - 2 days at night. They are also very good because they are peaceful but don't don't take any messing from other fish.

A few things here:

a) Black USD catfish are very different from regular ones.

b) Black USD cats can be aggressive and cerrtainly grow big.

c) Dophin cats grow bigger than anyone can cope with.

I have two. I had to separate them for constant fighting. Then I had to take the one I left out of the community tank; it is now 3" longer than the other one because of eating all my tetras. They're pretty aggressive in my experience. :?

I didn't mean Dolphin Fish, I confused it with an Elaphant Fish. Who has a major wanting to jump out of the tank problem

That common name is also encountered on Pangasius, at least in the UK.

HardwareGeeks - If your elephant nose is wanting to jump out, check your water parameters. Fish normally don't want to jump out unless they are unhappy about the tank or water conditions.
