here are the micro syno's i was reffering to in the previous thread. i bought a large group of about 20 of these guys. the lfs had them marked at a mere $2.88 US dollars. they are all about 3/4 inch in lenght.

This is the (apparently) undescribed species from Nigeria.

that is what paul was thinking as well. do you have any clue on total length and any of the other water parameters? thanks in advance

They get no larger than 1½" (unlike the true M. batesii, which reaches 3½"). Water requirements are similar to M. batesii.
